1. Product Overview

"KH" series of electric actuators are used to control a variety of electric valves and other similar products, such as electric butterfly valve, electric ball valve, gate valve, globe valve, regulating valve, etc., can be widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, water treatment, shipbuilding, paper making, power station, heating, building automation and other industries. It uses AC380V/220V/110V AC power supply as the driving power, 4-20mA current signal or 0-10V DC voltage signal as the control signal, which can make the valve move to the required position. Realize its automatic control. "KH" series has different torque selection range, torque value from 15-3000nm, speed from 10-110rpm, can also be configured with different "KH" valve gear box, greatly expanded torque range or multi-rotary actuator can be changed into partial rotary, arm type, linear actuator, can be found for a variety of requirements of the series type.

2, performance characteristics

2.1 shell

The shell is ductile iron, after metal surface protection, before the actuator top paint spraying, must pass the intermediate coating protection treatment, improve the corrosion resistance, protection grade is IP67, NEMA4 and NEMA6, and IP68 and explosion-proof type to choose from.

2.2 motor

Fully enclosed squirrel cage motor is adopted. It has the characteristics of small volume, large torque and small inertia force. Motor insulation class H and built-in overheat protection switch, can prevent overheating damage to the motor.

2.3 Motor Protection

In order to protect the motor from overheating, there are two series thermal switches installed in each winding of the three-phase motor or single-phase motor. After they are involved in the control circuit can play to prevent the winding temperature overheating caused by the motor damage. Thermal switches provide better protection than thermal overload relays because the temperature sensing element is inside the motor. Once the temperature of a winding exceeds 120℃, the thermal switch will cut off the control power supply. When the winding temperature drops to 90℃, the motor will restart. Motor protection devices (overheat protection switches or thermoregulators) participate in external wiring control.

2.4 Wiring terminal box

When opening the terminal box cover for field wiring, the terminal box sealed separately also ensures the sealing integrity of the electrical part in the electric device. The motor of the actuator and the control unit are connected through terminals. (AOX-M-007 ~ 010 is 29 needles, AOX-M-020 ~ 100 is 39 needles)

2.5 Valve control

Eliminated the traditional potentiometer test valve position, the use of magnetic induction absolute encoder to ensure the position accuracy, and in the actuator power failure without battery can accurately rely on the record valve position.

2.6 Infrared Setting

Through the sealed indicating window, the actuator can be fully set and diagnosed without opening the electrical box cover on site to expose the internal control circuit. The effective dialogue distance between the setting and the window is 1-1.5 meters. (Dialogue distance can be customized up to 3-4 meters)

2.7 Local Control

Field control switch and lock-type field/stop/remote selector are magnetic switches without through-shaft, which are controlled by acting on the internal Hall switch tube of the actuator to ensure the sealing and moisture proof requirements of the actuator.

2.8 Manual Structure

The design of handwheel ensures safety, reliability, labor-saving and small size. When there is no power, disconnect the motor from the actuator by operating the red button in the middle of the handwheel to start manual operation. Because of the self-locking turbine separation between the motor and the operating shaft, the actuator is easily converted to manual operation even at maximum torque values. After the motor is started, it is automatically removed from manual operation and the handwheel does not work when the motor is operated. (Note: In the case of no power supply, the electric actuator will remain in permanent manual state)






2.9 dryer




It is used to control the temperature, prevent the condensation of water inside the actuator due to temperature and weather changes, and keep the internal electrical components dry.




2.10 Torque switch




It can provide overload protection, automatically disconnect the motor power when the valve is stuck, and protect the valve and electric actuator from damage more effectively.




2.11 since the lock




Precise worm gear and worm mechanism can efficiently transmit large torque, with high efficiency, low noise (maximum 50 dB), long life and other characteristics. With self-locking function to prevent reversal, the transmission part is stable and reliable without refueling.




2.12 Bolt protection




When removing the shell, the bolts attached to the shell will not fall off, and the external screws are made of 304 stainless steel.




2.13 installation




The bottom mounting size is in line with ISO5210 international standard, and the driving sleeve can be removed and processed according to needs, with good compatibility. It can be installed vertically or horizontally.




2.14 the line




The control circuit conforms to single-phase or three-phase power supply standard, and the circuit layout is compact and reasonable. The actuator is equipped with 29 wiring ports with sunflower terminal. The terminal is installed between the actuator cavity and the connector in the case of double-sealed connection. This protects equipment from dust or moisture even after the outer cover is removed or the cable jacket is not completely sealed. Terminal blocks can effectively meet the requirements of various additional functions. (can be processed according to customer requirements)
