The 500X pressure relief holding valve is mainly used in fire fighting and other water supply systems to prevent system overpressure or to maintain pressure in the fire fighting water supply system. After the fire pump is closed, the impact of the water hammer can be reduced. Also used in water hammer devices for large water supply systems. And the valve control system at the entrance is equipped with a clean screen, using fluid characteristics, so that the proportion of large, large diameter suspended particles will not enter the control system, to ensure that the system circulation unimpeded, so that the valve can operate safely and reliably. Working principle:

1. Pressure relief valve: when pressure relief/pressure holding guide valve is adjusted to pressure relief state, water flows to the outlet through needle valve, main valve control room, ball valve A, pressure relief/pressure holding guide valve, ball valve B, at this time the main valve is in open state. When the inlet pressure exceeds the safety value set by the pressure relief/pressure holding guide valve, the pressure relief guide valve will automatically open and release part of the water through ball valve C to relieve the pressure of the pipeline. When the pressure is restored to the safe value, the relief valve closes automatically. As pressure relief valve, the ball valve is normally open.

2, as pressure holding valve: when the pressure relief/pressure holding guide valve is adjusted to the pressure holding state, as long as the main valve inlet water pressure is lower than the set value of the pilot valve, the pilot valve is closed. Main control room booster, main valve closed. When the upstream water supply pressure of the main valve exceeds the set pressure of the pilot valve, the pressure holding pilot valve can be opened. The water in the control room is discharged to the outlet through the ball valve, and the main valve of the control room is opened to supply water, which maintains the upstream water pressure. When used as holding pressure valve, ball valve C is usually closed or replaced with silk plug.
